Lucknow, May 03: The Indian Air Forceโs helicopters and fighter aircraft on Sunday expressed its gratitude towards frontline warriors by showering flower petals over them.
The Indian Air Force carried out a several round of floral shower to thank the doctors, medical personnel and other Corona warriors engaged in war against dreaded disease.
Helicopters took three rounds of floral showers to express gratitude to the ‘Corona warriors’ above the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and Apex Trauma Center campuses in the capital.
However, during this time, the doctors and other medical staff standing in the courtyard shook hands and greeted. They also expressed their enthusiasm by clapping to thank IAF.
Army helicopters, entered from the west direction above the administrative building of KGMU where large number of doctors and medical staff collected in the lawn of the administrative building have started showering flowers over them. After a few minutes the helicopter entered from the east direction and it showered once again. At the same time, for the third time, entering from the south direction, the AIFโs coppers carried out floral rain over corona fighters.
KGMU Vice Chancellor (VC) MLB Bhatt said that the army has given unprecedented respect to the Corona warriors. This has increased the enthusiasm of doctors and other staff. Doctors engaged in the service of patients day and night are feeling proud of this.
In this sequence, Corona Warriors were also honoured in other cities of the state including dedicated Covid-19 hospital at Trauma Centre of Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow, BHU and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay hospital in Varanasi.
