Yogi Adityanath appears in ‘Nath Panth’ attire to perform ‘Vijayadashami puja’ in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur, Oct 12: The rituals of Vijayadashami festival started in Gorakhnath temple on Saturday morning with the special worship ritual of Shrinath ji (Shivavatar Guru Gorakshanath). Following the tradition of Nathpanth, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, dressed in the special attire of Gorakshpeethadhishwar, worshiped Shrinath ji as per the rituals. After that, special worship was done to all the deities established in Gorakhnath temple.

On the morning of Vijayadashami, Yogi worshiped Mother Goddesses in the Shaktipeeth of the temple. After this, he went to the sanctum sanctorum of Gorakhnath temple and appeared before Mahayogi Gorakhnath

ji.

He performed special puja in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and performed the aarti of Guru Gorakhnath ji.

On this occasion, he also performed special worship of all the deities established in the temple.

Gorakshpeethadhishwar, after getting bound, circumambulated Shrinath ji and all

the deity idols and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and welfare of the

people of the state.

During this period, the entire temple complex was filled

with devotion due to the sound of Nathpanth’s traditional special musical

instruments – Nagfani, Conch, Dhol, Ghant and Damru.
