Lucknow, April 11: So far, 19 projects worth Rs 34 crore 73 lakh have been approved under the financial year 2024-25 for the construction of various temples, famous tourist places located in the historical district Firozabad. Completion of these projects will increase the number of devotees and tourists.
Firozabad is famous as Suhag Nagari and due to its proximity to Agra, tourists from India and abroad keep coming throughout the year. Keeping this in view, it has been decided to develop tourism development facilities at ancient historical and mythological sites. The responsibility of completing the projects on time has been entrusted to Uttar Pradesh Projects Corporation Ltd, said state’s Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh.
He said that under these projects approved under the state sector, beautification and tourism development of Shiv Vatika located in village Hussainpur of Firozabad will be done. Apart from this, development of tourism infrastructure facilities of Saabhour Baba temple area, tourism development of Siddha Baba temple Bharol, tourism development and beautification of the ancient Devarshi Narad Muni temple of Narkhi Dhokal, construction of Veda Upvan in Omkareshwar Mahadev temple premises situated on Sirsaganj Haibatpur Road is to be done.
Jaiveer Singh said that similarly tourism development of Van Khandeshwar Mahadev Temple Kotwa Development Block Narkhi Firozabad, beautification and tourism development of Van Khandeshwar Temple in Ukhrand, beautification and tourism development of ancient Mata Temple in village Seegamei, beautification and tourism development of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, beautification and tourism development of Maharaj Temple located in Ram Nagar, tourism development of Chadami Lal Jain Temple located in Firozabad, beautification and tourism development of Bajrang Ashram located in Narkhi and beautification and tourism development of Radhakrishna Temple located in Gaunch will be done.
Tourism Minister said that similarly tourism development and beautification of Jaru Dwara Sthal located in Sirsaganj Tehsil of Firozabad district, tourism development of Himmatpur Wali Maiya, tourism development of Dekhai Dekhaiya Temple Maharaj in Assembly constituency Jasrana, tourism development of ancient Sanatan Temple located in Rudhu-Paharpur located in Tundla, tourism development of Chakreshwar Mahadev Temple located in Paidhat in Assembly constituency Jasrana and tourism development of Maa Kamakhya Temple located in Assembly constituency Jasrana will be done.
