Lucknow, April 9: The Yogi government, committed to make Uttar Pradesh a great state, is speeding up the ‘Safe City Project’ in Noida. Naveen Okhla Industrial Development Authority ( Noida) has started its preparation. To implement the project in the city, mainly six phases will be implemented effectively, for which Rs 208.47 crore will be spent. Under this project, there is a preparation to equip the Integrated Command and Control Center (I Triple C) of Noida with modern facilities.
The special thing is that on completion of the project, all the police stations, CCTV system and traffic management system of the city will be integrated with I Triple C. Along with this, it will be equipped with a state-of-the-art public address system which will become a medium to issue messages in emergency situations. On completion of the process, it will help in making the security system of all the citizens including women of Noida city more effective.
According to the action plan prepared by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, mainly 6 major components will be implemented effectively to complete the Safe City Project. All these components will be implemented according to the sequential phase. These include state-of-the-art city communication network, integrated command and control center, data center, CCTV based city surveillance system, intelligent traffic management system and geographic information system (GIS).
A state government spokesperson said that all these components are ready to be equipped with modern technology, and a detailed framework will be prepared by integrating all these. On completion of the process, it will help in controlling and managing any unpleasant or emergency incident in the entire city through direct monitoring from I-Triple C. In a way, it will work as a one-stop solution for effective resolution of all the major situations and problems of the city.
Under the process, a state-of-the-art data center will be built and developed in the Integrated Command and Control Center. Along with this, facilities like state-of-the-art public address system, face recognition and digital forensics will also be added under the Safe City Project. Apart from this, works like installation of crypto currency investigation solution, panic box system, visual display units, bullet-PTZ and ANPR cameras will be completed.
Overall, 225 square km area of โโNoida city will be effectively managed under the Safe City process. Various types of software installation and upgradation process will also be completed under the Safe City project, for which the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority has started the process of implementing its preparations.
