Yogi govt to run ‘save trees’ campaign till January 14

Lucknow, 08 October: After planting 36.80 crore saplings, the Yogi government will now run the Save the Trees campaign quarterly. This campaign will run from October 3 to January 14. Minister of Forest, Environment, Zoo and Climate Change on Tuesday. Arun Kumar Saxena launched the Save the Trees campaign for the quarter at “Saumitra Forest” located on the banks of the Kukrail River. He also observed the trees planted in Soumitra forest.

The forest minister will inspect the districts

Under this, the maintenance and protection of the trees planted under the plantation campaign will be done. He instructed the officials that Jitene trees have been planted in the entire province, they should be given special attention, because these trees are planted in the name of mother and there is nothing in the world better than mother.

He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he would personally visit the districts and see the status of the planted plants. Negligence at any level will not be tolerated.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Department Sudhir Kumar Sharma, PCCF Wildlife Sanjay Srivastava, MD Forest Corporation Sunil Chaudhary, PCCF Action Plan Ashok Kumar, UP Forest Corporation General Manager Sanjay Pathak, CCF Lucknow Mandal Renu Singh etc. were present.
