19 new corona cases in 24 hours in UP
Chief Minister gave instructions for better treatment of people who fell ill in Firozabad
Lucknow, August 31: Coronavirus infection is continuously under control across Uttar Pradesh. Within the last 24 hours, 19 new cases of infection have been registered in the state.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions for better treatment of sick people in Firozabad and strict adherence to the Covid protocol in primary schools opening from Wednesday.
Chief Minister Yogi was reviewing the situation of Covid-19 in the state in a high-level meeting called at his official residence here on Tuesday.
During this, he said that due to the effective strategy and continuous efforts of the state government, the corona infection is under control in the state. Corona infection is not over yet. Therefore, even a little carelessness regarding the prevention of infection can be heavy. In view of this, he has given instructions to ensure complete compliance of the corona protocol and to effectively continue the system of prevention and treatment of Covid-19.
The number of active cases of corona in the state is 256
In the meeting, the Chief Minister was apprised that in the last 24 hours, 19 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the state. During this period 74 persons were discharged after successful treatment. At present, the number of active cases of corona in the state is 256. At present in Aligarh, Amethi, Baghpat, Banda, Basti, Bijnor, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Etah, Farrukhabad, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Jaunpur, Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Mau, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Rampur, Sant Kabirnagar and Sitapur. There is not a single patient of Covid.
βIn the last 24 hours, 1, 73,419 corona tests were conducted in the state. So far, 07 crore 23 lakh 18 thousand 979 Covid tests have been completed in the state,β Team 9 informed CM yogi.
7.15 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far in the state
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is providing the protection cover of corona vaccination free of cost to all the citizens of the targeted age group. Vaccination work is being done fast in the state.
He instructed to conduct the Covid vaccination work with full activeness. It was informed in the meeting that so far more than 07 crore 15 lakh 49 thousand vaccine doses have been administered in the state.
Instructions given for better treatment of people who fell sick in Firozabad
Yogi said that in Firozabad district, along with children, adults have also fallen ill. Arrangements are being made for better treatment of all. They should be shifted to the medical college as per the requirement. He said that a special team of health department should camp in Firozabad. It should also be ensured that adequate number of doctors and paramedical staff are deployed there.
The Chief Minister directed that the District Magistrates should regularly monitor the works of the under-construction oxygen plant. Training of personnel should be completed soon for the smooth operation of oxygen plants. In the meeting, the Chief Minister was apprised that so far 357 oxygen plants have become functional.
Instructions related to Covid protocol in schools opening from September 1
He said that from September 01, schools from class 01 to 05 are opening. In view of this, all necessary arrangements related to Covid protocol should be ensured in all schools. Cleanliness and sanitization work should be done every day. He directed that timely payment of scholarships should be made to the students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
He directed to apprise the Chief Minister’s Office after reviewing the updated status of scholarship distribution.
Expected from Jal Shakti Minister to visit flood affected areas
The Chief Minister said that districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh including Gorakhpur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Gonda, Shravasti are affected by floods and heavy rains. In these areas, along with boats, dry ration and lunch packets, other necessary arrangements should be ensured.
He expected the Jal Shakti Minister to visit the affected areas and review the relief and rescue operations on the spot. He directed that the disaster management teams including NDRF, SDRF should be in full active mode in the flood affected areas.
He also said in the meeting that in Etah and Bareilly districts, an incident of illegal recovery and assault by unruly elements wearing police uniform has come to the fore. This is a conspiracy to malign the reputation of Uttar Pradesh Police. The Chief Minister has directed to take strictest action against such people without delay.
