Yogi meets injured at Trauma Centre of KGMU in Lucknow

Lucknow, March 25: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Trauma Center of King George’s Medical University on Sunday and met the injured in the road accident in Lucknow and inquired about their well-being. 

The Chief Minister has instructed the doctors for better treatment of all the injured. A total of 9 patients were admitted to the trauma center after the road accident in Lucknow on Saturday. Two of these patients have died. 

According to KGMU, a 40-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl died due to head injury and hip fracture. Apart from this, two other patients are on ventilator. Their condition is serious. There has been accumulation of blood due to head injury. Other injured patients are undergoing treatment, the condition of all of them is stable. The injured include a 6-year-old girl, teenage boys aged 13 and 15, men aged 25, 26 and 35 and a 35-year-old woman. All the patients are admitted in ICU.

It is worth mentioning that fifteen people, including six police personnel, were seriously wounded when an anti-demo vehicle of the Lucknow police, which moves much ahead of the chief minister’s fleet to secure the route, turned turtle and collided with other cars while trying to save a stray dog here on Saturday evening.

The incident occured near Mata Mandir in Arjunganj in the Lucknow city at around 7.45pm.
