Gorakhpur, 13 Aug: On Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign by hoisting the National Flag on the grounds of the Gorakhnath Temple.
The Chief Minister snapped a picture with the national flag and asked state citizens to join in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
CM Yogi is on a three-day visit to Gorakhpur. He also called to the people of the state to join this campaign before the state’s 77th Independence Day. It is worth noting that the Yogi government set a huge example last year by unfurling 4.5 crore flags across the state.
Similarly, the government intends to display the national flag on residential and non-residential structures, government and non-government offices, institutions, and other locations throughout the country this year.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister altered the profile photo on all of his social media accounts and uploaded a tricolour image to the internet platforms. Various celebrations will take place for a week on this second Independence Day of the Amrit Kal (the period of freedom).
Along with the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign on August 13, silent processions will be held in all districts of the state on division Day, August 14, recalling the horrors of India’s partition and paying tribute to the victims of the bloodshed during that era.
Additionally, as part of the ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ programme, clay lamps will be lighted to honour our warriors’ valiant sacrifices.
In addition, families of independence fighters, military forces, central police force, and police department sacrifices will be honoured in the districts, and Kavi Sammelan (poetic meetings) and Mushairas (poetic gatherings) will be arranged. Notably, the Yogi Government has scheduled Har Ghar Tiranga and ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ activities in schools.
Following the Chief Minister’s orders, the state’s primary and secondary schools opened on Sunday (August 13) for the execution of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ initiatives.
Additionally, special preparations were made for the pupils’ mid-day lunches.
