Yogi to meet with major industrial organisations in Mumbai

Lucknow, 28 Dec: A delegation of state ministers will do roadshows in seven key cities throughout the country to seek domestic investors after ending their overseas visits to invite investors to the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023.

According to an official announcement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will personally meet with major industrial organisations in Mumbai and ask them to invest in Uttar Pradesh; separate teams have been formed for the remaining six cities.

“On the Chief Minister’s directions, a new team has been established for domestic road shows that comprise independent charge (ministers of state) and ministers of state in addition to cabinet ministers.

The ministers will be accompanied on these travels by a team of senior officials to help them, according to the statement. It was announced that CM Yogi would attend the Mumbai roadshow on January 5. “Along with representatives from Tata Group, Reliance Sectors, Mahindra, Godrej, Aditya Birla Group, Bombay Dyeing, Britannia, JSW Group, and Asian Paints Group, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to interact with persons from the banking and film industries at this site,” the statement added.”During other trips, discussions can be undertaken with big industrial firms, such as Adani Group, Hitachi, Hiranandani Group, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Maruti Suzuki, Ashoka Leyland, Goenka Group, Oswal Industries, and others,” the statement continued.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will join the roadshow team in Mumbai on January 5. This group also includes Industrial Development Minister Nandagopal Nandi and Independent Charge Minister Ravindra Jaiswal. Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, along with Ministers with Independent Charge Aseem Arun and Nitin Agarwal, will be in Chennai on January 9 to meet with investors.

On January 13, Industrial Development Minister Nandagopal Nandi, IT and Electronics Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, Urban Development Minister AK Sharma, and Independent Charge Minister Sandeep Singh will meet with businesses and invite investment in Delhi.

The Kolkata Roadshow team includes Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Industrial Development Minister Nandagopal Nandi, Minister of Independent Charge Dayashankar Singh, and Minister of State Ajit Singh Pal on January 16.

On January 18, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Technical Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, and Independent Charge Minister Arun Saxena will travel to Hyderabad to invite Indian business to invest in Uttar Pradesh.

On January 20, PWD Minister Jitin Prasad with Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Independent Charge Minister Jayendra Pratap, and Minister of State Jaswant Saini in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. On January 23, Industrial Development Minister Nandagopal Nandi, IT and Electronics Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, and Independent Charge Minister Aseem Arun will travel to Bengaluru to meet with investors.
