Rider dies after motorcycle smashes into parked container on Kisan Path in Lucknow
Lucknow, June 24: A speeding motorcycle rammed into a parked container on Kisan Path in the Bijnor police station area on Wednesday, leaving a young man critically injured who later died during treatment at the hospital; police reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem, and initiated an investigation into the case.
Kapil Gautam, in-charge of Bijnor police station in Lucknow, said that police received information about a road accident at the Natkur underpass on Kisan Path. Upon receiving the information, police immediately arrived at the scene and inspected the scene. Investigation revealed that a young man riding a motorcycle collided with a container parked on Kisan Path, leaving him seriously injured. The injured youth was identified as Shivam alias Baldev (22), a resident of Natkur. With the help of local people, police sent the injured man to CHC Sarojini Nagar for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
The station in-charge stated that the family of the deceased has been informed of the incident. Police have seized the container and are interrogating the driver. Upon receiving a complaint, a case will be registered under relevant sections and necessary action will be taken.
