Mehbooba Mufti pays tribute to Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran
Srinagar, July 3: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti paid tribute to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei during her visit to Tehran on Friday. She described it as an honour to personally express her condolences and solidarity.
In a post on Instagram, Mehbooba Mufti wrote that it was an honour for her to be in Tehran to express her deepest condolences and solidarity on the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei, a respected leader who dared to stand against the current and fought for the oppressed. These words of Mufti came during her visit to Iran where she joined other dignitaries and mourners in the condolence meetings.
He described Ayatollah Khamenei as a leader who stood firmly against global injustice and spoke out for the oppressed.
