U.P. govt forms SIT on Shri Ram Trust’s request; RSS calls for severe punishment for offenders
New Delhi, July 3: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has described the incident of offering theft at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya as unfortunate and demanded that the culprits be punished severely. The Sangh reminded the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which manages the temple, that Hindu society naturally expects that deficiencies in management and operation be addressed.
General Secretary Hosabale said that the magnificent temple built on Ram Janmabhoomi has become a center of faith, belief, and devotion for the entire Hindu community due to the struggles of generations and the dedication, sacrifice, and sacrifice of millions of Ram devotees. Upon the request of the Trust, the Uttar Pradesh government has formed a special investigation team and initiated the legal process based on its recommendations. It is essential to ensure that those found guilty in the investigation face severe punishment.
In a video message on Friday, Sangh Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said that the theft of funds from donation boxes at the Ram Temple is unfortunate. This has hurt the sentiments and devotion of the entire society and Ram devotees.
He said that the entire Hindu society, including the Sangh, naturally expects the Trust to treat this highly condemnable incident as extraordinary and take serious action to address all deficiencies in management and operation. The faith and devotion of millions of Ram devotees in the Ram Temple must remain unbroken and unwavering. The current state of confusion and ambiguity must end. Hosabale said, “In this regard, we expect the temple management and the special investigation team formed by the government to take all necessary initiatives.”
He expressed confidence that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will maintain the faith and belief of the Hindu community by establishing a transparent system for financial management and smooth operations, and by creating a religious environment filled with purity and sanctity.
He said that the Sangh also appeals to the entire Hindu community to demonstrate the necessary patience and restraint in this difficult time. He also appealed to the entire Hindu community to thwart the conspiracies of anti-Hindu and anti-national forces to defame Hindu religion and society by taking advantage of this unfortunate incident.
