CJP to continue nationwide students’ stir, demands Pradhan’s resignation

New Delhi, July 24: The social media campaign Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Friday decided to continue the nationwide student protest. Addressing a press conference held at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Friday, campaign leader Abhijeet Dipke said, “The youth of the country have a very simple and clear demand: Dharmendra Pradhan must resign. The protest at Jantar Mantar will continue until the Education Minister resigns. If the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or the government wants to resolve this issue, there is only one solution: Dharmendra Pradhan must resign.”

He also said that we are very happy and relieved that environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk has ended his hunger strike. He had been on a fast for 26 days and decided to end the strike for the welfare of the students. They did not want any case to be filed against any student, and that was their condition. We truly thank them. By risking their lives, they awakened the people of the entire country. What Sonam has done for this country and its future generations will always be remembered in history. We thank her for taking this step to spread awareness across the country. This has brought about a huge change, and her efforts have led to such a massive movement across India.

It is noteworthy that today the CJP has called on everyone to hold a one-day peaceful protest in every district of the country. The main objective is to demonstrate solidarity across the country under the message of “Every District, One Day, One Demand.”

Following the announcement of the “Sansad Chalo” march by the CJP, which is leading the student movement, thousands of students gathered on July 20 to protest. They are demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister over irregularities in the education system and the paper leak case.
