Film director Imtiaz Ali’s daughter Ida Ali has got engaged to her longtime friend and boyfriend Krish Aggarwal. Imtiaz Ali shared a photo of the engagement, which took place in a private ceremony, on Instagram story. Along with the photo, he sought blessings from fans and well-wishers for his daughter and future son-in-law.
In the shared photo, Ida and Krish are seen exchanging rings. Ida appeared in a light pink gown for the special occasion, while Krish was seen in a black sherwani. The joy of engagement is clearly visible on both their faces. Sharing the photo, Imtiaz wrote, “Want your blessings.” Earlier, Krish had proposed to Ida on one knee amidst the snow-capped mountains of Norway.
Like her father, Ida is also striving to make a name for herself in the world of filmmaking. She directed the short film “Lift” at the age of 17. According to reports, Krish is 24 and works as a quantitative researcher at a hedge fund company. Ida and Krish are passionate about traveling and have been dating for a long time.
Following their engagement, both families are expected to begin wedding preparations.
