New York/New Delhi, June 21: Elon Musk, CEO of electric car maker Tesla, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York on Wednesday.
Elon Musk said that he is a fan of Modi and is very excited about investing in India. India has more possibilities than any other country in the world. He said that he may visit India next year.
The world’s richest Musk said about the meeting with Prime Minister Modi that it was a wonderful meeting. The Tesla chief said that India has immense potential in the solar energy sector.
He said that he is incredibly excited about the future of India. He said that Modi cares a lot for India, and I can say that his approach is very liberal regarding new companies.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day US tour. After meeting Elon Musk, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, “We had a multi-faceted conversation on issues ranging from energy to spirituality.”
On the first day of his three-day visit, Modi met Nobel laureates, CEOs, economists, entrepreneurs, scholars, artists, academicians, and health sector experts in New York. Meanwhile, he also met Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.
