Ajay seeks Mohanlal’s approval, actor yet to view ‘Drishyam 3’ due to vacation
The highly anticipated Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Drishyam 3’ is set to release in theaters on October 2. The producers have described it as the final installment in the ‘Drishyam’ franchise. In a recent interview, Ajay revealed that he had also spoken to Mohanlal about the film.
Ajay said that he had called Mohanlal and requested him to watch the film, as he wanted to get the actor’s approval. However, Mohanlal has not been able to see the film yet due to being on vacation. Ajay expressed hope that he will see the film soon.
Ajay also discussed the decision to end the film. He said that it is not easy to continue a story like ‘Drishyam’ and that he wanted to end the franchise on a strong note. According to the actor, he recently watched the film and personally found it even better than “Drishyam 2.”
Ajay said that developing the film’s script was challenging. He believed the story should continue from the previous film’s ending, rather than creating a new murder mystery and forcing it forward.
Ajay explained that the writer and director’s team worked on approximately four different scripts before arriving at the final story. Their goal wasn’t simply to create another sequel based on the previous film’s success, but to create a story that naturally progressed within the world of “Drishyam.” After several rounds of reworking the story and screenplay, a script was developed that included the necessary twists, turns, and surprising twists. The film will now be released to audiences on October 2.
