
Temple visit in Varanasi marks spiritual bond between two BJP CMs
Varanasi, October 7: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma paid obeisance at the Kal Bhairav temple and Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi late on Wednesday evening.
Both the Chief Ministers worshipped Kal Bhairav and Baba Vishwanath and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and public welfare of the nation.
During their visit to Varanasi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma first visited the court of Baba Kal Bhairav, the Kotwal of Kashi. Here, they performed darshan and puja as per the rituals and performed aarti.
After this, Yogi and Sarma reached the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and went to the sanctum sanctorum, performed ‘Jalabhishek’ and performed Shodashopachara puja and prayed for public welfare.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lovingly distributed chocolates to the children present at the Kaal Bhairav Temple. During this time, devotees present at the temple greeted the Chief Minister by chanting “Har Har Mahadev.”
