New Delhi, 15 August: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the Vishwakarma scheme from the ramparts of the Red Fort.

He said that the government is going to bring a scheme for the workers of the country on Vishwakarma Day.

He informed that Rs 13 to 15 thousand crore will be spent on this scheme in the next few months for traditional arts.

The Prime Minister said that the countrymen have elected a stable government in the country. It was only because of the stable government elected by the countrymen that they could develop the power of reform. Because of this, the bureaucracy performed the transformation.

During this, the Prime Minister enumerated the achievements of his government in the last nine years.

He said that when we came to power in 2014, we were in the 10th position in the global economic system. Today, with the efforts of 140 crore Indians, we have reached the fifth position; it did not happen just like that. We stopped the demon of corruption that had gripped the country and created a strong economy.
