Arshad Warsi back in black coat for Jolly LLB origins
Bollywood’s popular franchise Jolly LLB is gearing up for its fourth installment, which will be presented as a prequel, with actor Arshad Warsi reprising his role as lawyer Jagdish Tyagi, fondly known as Jolly.
According to reports, the film is currently in the final stages of pre-production and is scheduled to wrap up shooting by January 2027. Umesh Shukla has been assigned to direct the film.
According to reports, the film’s title has not yet been finalized. A source stated that the story will be a prequel, not a sequel to the previous films. It will present a new take on Arshad Warsi’s popular character, Jolly. However, details regarding the film’s story and other cast members have not yet been revealed.
The “Jolly LLB” franchise began in 2013, starring Arshad Warsi as lawyer Jagdish Tyagi. In the second installment, Akshay Kumar played Jagdishwar Mishra, also known as Jolly, while Huma Qureshi was also a part of the film. Arshad and Akshay were seen together in “Jolly LLB 3,” released in 2025. Now, with Arshad’s return in the fourth installment, fans can expect to once again glimpse his famous courtroom style.
