Akhilesh Yadav predicts BJP defeat once UP poll dates are announced
Lucknow, October 27: Speaking to reporters in Lucknow, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the BJP would lose the moment the Uttar Pradesh Assembly election dates are announced, while cautioning people against what he called “pre-paid parties,” alleging that their “OTPs” come from elsewhere and that such parties act as loudspeakers for others, adding that “once the string is cut, the game is over.”
Akhilesh Yadav inducted former BJP MP from Aonla, Bareilly, Dharmendra Kashyap, and his daughter, Kirti Kashyap, into the Samajwadi Party (SP). Akhilesh Yadav congratulated and wished the former MP’s daughter and hundreds of party workers who joined the party. He said that the leaders who left the BJP and joined the SP are welcome. Their arrival will further strengthen the fight for social justice and social justice in the state. He said that this time it’s not an 80-20 game, but a 90-10 one. The upcoming elections are a contest between the oppressed and the oppressors.
The SP president questioned the Election Commission’s working style. He said that for votes, to save democracy, voter lists should be corrected across the country. Voter lists should be linked to Aadhaar. Voting should be done through biometrics. If biometrics are used everywhere, why not in voting? How long can we escape from these people? He said that the Election Commission has woken up and is taking decisions against officials to ensure impartiality. But is it possible that after such small action, there might be a major conspiracy that we cannot detect?
Regarding the farmers of the state, he said, “I assure you, if the Samajwadi Party forms the government, your payment of ₹162 crore will be made within 24 hours.” Akhilesh Yadav also raised questions about voting in the Legislative Council elections for SP candidate Kanti Singh’s Lucknow seat. He alleged that unfolded votes were found at 97 booths. He said it appeared as if the entire box had been cast and brought back. He accused the BJP of rigging the elections.
SP President Akhilesh Yadav took a dig at All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi, saying, “If the string is over, the game is over. Who holds the kite’s string and the reel? Who holds the string, the reel, and the reel? The BJP knows the PDA is united.”

Upon joining the Samajwadi Party, former MP Dharmendra Kashyap accused the BJP government of denying justice to backward classes. He said that more than a dozen members of the Kashyap community have been murdered, and that members of a particular caste are involved in these incidents.
Dharmendra Kashyap sarcastically said that the wheel of development is stuck, and law and order is in shambles. Every child in Uttar Pradesh says that Akhilesh Yadav is necessary. He said that he will work to strengthen the Samajwadi Party.
