Spiritual saga ‘Hanuman Ansh’ gears up for OTT release
After achieving tremendous success at the box office, “Hanuman Ansh” is now set to release on OTT platform. Inspired by the life of Neem Karoli Baba, the film will now have its digital premiere on Sony Liv on November 27.
Director Vishal Chaturvedi shared the news, stating that after receiving immense love from audiences in theaters, the film will now reach audiences at home. This is good news for fans who have been waiting for the film’s OTT release for a long time. Made on a budget of just ₹2 crore, the film featured no major stars, yet it surpassed many major films in terms of earnings.
The story revolves around a young man named Laxminarayan, who, after the death of his mother, sets out to find answers to questions related to life, death, and God. During his spiritual journey across North India, he encounters many difficult experiences, leading him to a new identity as Neem Karoli Baba.
The film stars Shobhinav Satya in the lead role. Initially, the film was considered a box office failure due to slow earnings, but audience appreciation led to a steady increase in its earnings. The film grossed ₹342.44 crore in India and ₹452.86 crore worldwide. The film, which ran for nearly 80 days in theaters, set a new record for its success by crossing the ₹300 crore mark in its eighth week.
