UP weather update: Slight relief from heat, storm alerts issued in several districts

Lucknow, May 28: A change in weather in Uttar Pradesh is expected to bring relief to people suffering from the scorching heat and heatwave from Thursday. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted strong thunderstorms, rain, hailstorms, and lightning in several districts of the state over the next 24 hours. This will bring temperatures down, providing relief from the heat. However, heatwave conditions persist in Bundelkhand and Prayagraj today.

The Met department has issued a warning of strong winds, lightning, and hailstorms in several districts, including Agra, Meerut, Kanpur, Hamirpur, and Banda. There is hope for relief for the people of Uttar Pradesh, who are suffering from the intense heat and scorching sun. On Thursday, temperatures dropped by up to three degrees Celsius in several districts, including Lucknow, and winds are also showing signs of softening.

According to the weathermen, a western disturbance is expected to bring heavy storms and rain to most parts of the state between Thursday and May 31st. Furthermore, hailstorms are also possible in some parts of the state. This will result in a drop in temperatures by 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, providing relief from the heat wave and scorching heat for a week. Currently, heat waves and heat are being felt in Bundelkhand and Prayagraj on Thursday.

Winds will blow at speeds of 60 to 100 km/h

According to the Meteorological department’s Lucknow center, dust storms with gusts of 60 to 70 km/h are expected in western Uttar Pradesh, while strong winds of 50 to 60 km/h are also expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Red and orange alerts have been issued for the next 48 hours, with the possibility of storms with speeds of 80 to 100 kilometers per hour in some areas. The Lucknow center of the Meteorological Department has predicted the weather for the next seven days, from May 28 to June 3. It is predicted that there will be thunderstorms, hailstorms, and strong winds in some parts of western and eastern Uttar Pradesh until June 1, while dry weather is expected on June 2 and 3. The

The weather in the capital, Lucknow, is hot and dry on Thursday.  However, the temperature dropped by about 3 degrees Celsius on Thursday, and the temperature is expected to remain between 38 and 44 degrees Celsius.
