This will bring temperatures down, providing relief from the heat. However, heatwave conditions persist in Bundelkhand and Prayagraj today.
The Met department has issued a warning of strong winds, lightning, and hailstorms in several districts, including Agra, Meerut, Kanpur, Hamirpur, and Banda. According to the weathermen, a western disturbance is expected to bring heavy storms and rain to most parts of the state between Thursday and May 31st. This will result in a drop in temperatures by 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, providing relief from the heat wave and scorching heat for a week.
