CM Yogi offers prayers at Devipatan temple in Balrampur
Balrampur, June 6: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday morning visited the sanctum sanctorum of the Devipatan Shaktipeeth, where he performed ‘darshan and puja’ of Maa Pateshwari as per rituals, praying for the happiness, prosperity, and welfare of the people of the state.
After the puja at the temple, the Chief Minister toured the temple premises along with Devipatan temple head Mahant Mithilesh Nath Yogi Maharaj. After visiting the temple, the Chief Minister also visited the cowshed where he spent time among the cows and fed them green grass with his own hands.
During this time, the devotees who had come to visit the temple and worship were eager to catch a glimpse of the Chief Minister. They also raised slogans of “Chief Minister Yogi Zindabad”. The Chief Minister arrived in Tulsipur on Friday on a two-day visit.
He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects worth Rs 293 crore in Tulsipur. The Chief Minister spent the night at the temple in Devipatan. After performing puja on Saturday morning, he left for Gonda at 10 am.
