Two ‘wanted’ thags with a reward of ₹ 50,000 each held in Lucknow

Lucknow, June 06: In a joint operation of Mohanlalganj police station and surveillance cell, the police of PGI police station of the Lucknow have arrested two criminals with a reward of ₹ 50,000 each. These criminals had cheated about Rs 74 lakh in the name of selling a house in Vrindavan Yojna. A case was registered in this matter at the police station.

Station in-charge Dhirendra Kumar Singh said that the arrested accused have been identified as Sunil Kumar Shukla and Vipin Kumar Shukla, residents of Patel Nagar in Sushant Golf City police station area. A reward of Rs 50,000 each was announced on both of them.

Gayatri Devi, a resident of Unnao, stated that a written complaint was filed at the PGI police station alleging that the accused, Sunil Kumar Shukla, Ravi Singh, Sarvesh Kumar Pandey, Gaurav Awasthi, Vipin Kumar Shukla, Ritu Singh, Kanchan Lata alias Anjana, and others, formed an organized gang and forged documents in the name of selling a house in Vrindavan Yojana. They duped her of approximately 74 lakh rupees by promising her these documents. During the investigation, legal action has already been taken against four of the accused. Currently, Sunil and Vipin, the named and wanted accused in the case, were arrested late Friday night near the service lane of Kisan Path. During interrogation, the accused confessed to their crimes. Further action is being taken against them.
