“No officer will escape”—Dipke promises FIRs for brutality on protesters

New Delhi, July 24: Social media campaign Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) will file FIR against those responsible for brutalizing students during the Parliament March on July 20.

CJP chief Abhijeet Dipke said at a press conference at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Friday, “We will not let the brutality committed by the RAF and Delhi Police on July 20 go unpunished. Every single officer will be held accountable. Those officers who attacked protesters and misbehaved with women will be held accountable. We will file FIR against those responsible.”

He said that soon we will launch a website so that everyone can upload photos and videos of such officers.

It is worth noting that on July 20, thousands of Cockroach Janata Party supporters staged an illegal, unauthorized Sansad March from Jantar Mantar to Parliament demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, but police blocked the protest with barricades, baton charges, tear gas, and detentions, triggering chaos across central Delhi.

Delhi Police declared the march illegal, citing security risks around Parliament.
