According to the IMD, rainfall activity is expected to be relatively high in eastern Uttar Pradesh. According to Dr S.N. Sunil Pandey, a meteorologist at Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSA), Kanpur, the atmospheric humidity remains sufficient. Over the next few days, light to moderate rain is expected at many places, along with thunderstorms and strong winds in some areas.

Farmers have also been advised to plan their agricultural operations based on the possibility of rain.
