Monday blues for ‘The Vvaan’; ‘Hanuman Ansh’ keeps momentum alive
Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s film ‘The Vvaan: Force of the Forest’ lost its box office momentum on Monday after a strong opening weekend.
According to Sacnilk, the film grossed ₹5.25 crore on its fourth day of release. Previously, the film earned ₹8 crore on its first day, ₹11.25 crore on its second day, and ₹14.35 crore on its third day. With this, the film’s total net collection in India has reached ₹38.85 crore, while worldwide it has grossed ₹50.35 crore in four days. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film is a mythological horror story based on Indian folklore.
Nani’s film “The Paradise” also saw a decline in its earnings on Monday. The film collected ₹5 crore on its fifth day of release, compared to ₹15.70 crore on its fourth day. The film’s total net collection in India has reached ₹97.10 crore and its worldwide gross has reached ₹144.85 crore. After posting strong opening day collections, the film appears to be slowing down in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Vishal Chaturvedi’s “Hanuman Ansh” continues to hold its ground at the box office. The film earned ₹2.35 crore on its 53rd day of release. This brings the film’s total collection in India to ₹309.38 crore. The film has now grossed ₹404.25 crore worldwide, surpassing the ₹400 crore mark globally.
