Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ may feature Kartik Aaryan in lead role
Actor Kartik Aaryan may be seen in director Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘Operation Sindoor’. He has been cast in the lead role. However, the producers have not yet officially confirmed his involvement. Vivek announced the film in March this year. The film is based on Lieutenant General KJS ‘Tiny’ Dhillon’s book ‘Operation Sindoor: The Untold Story of India’s Deep Strikes Inside Pakistan’.
According to reports, Kartik is currently busy with director Shimit Amin’s film ‘Captain India’. The film is set against the backdrop of the Houthi conflict in Yemen. After completing its shooting, he may begin preparations for ‘Operation Sindoor’. This will be Kartik’s first film with Vivek Agnihotri, known for films like “The Kashmir Files” and “The Vaccine War.” The film is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Vivek Agnihotri’s I Am Buddha Productions.
According to Vivek, “Operation Sindoor” will not be limited to a patriotic or action drama. Extensive research is being conducted for the film to present the events as realistically as possible. The story will be set against the backdrop of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the subsequent retaliatory military action by the Indian Army.
The film is said to prominently depict the events of the operation that took place between May 6 and 10, 2025. Audiences are now awaiting the film’s official casting and other details.
