SRK likely to miss traditional Mannat greeting on 61st birthday
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan may skip his traditional birthday appearance at Mannat this year, as reports suggest the actor could be in London shooting for his upcoming film King on November 2, potentially disappointing thousands of fans who gather outside his Mumbai residence every year to celebrate his birthday.
According to reports, a song from the film “King” is scheduled to be shot on Shah Rukh’s birthday on November 2nd. Therefore, due to his busy schedule, the actor will not be able to meet fans in Mumbai. However, there is some relief for his fans: a special meet-and-greet event is likely to be organized before the film’s release.
Sources indicate that this event may take place on December 23, a day before the film’s release. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, “King” will feature Shah Rukh Khan in a different avatar. The film also stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Rani Mukerji. A new poster of Shah Rukh Khan from the film was recently released, showcasing his action avatar. “King” is scheduled to release in theaters on December 24, 2026.
