Yogi slams Congress-SP, calls Rahul Gandhi a ‘Phuss Rocket’
Gorakhpur: Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the SP and Congress, saying, “Rahul Gandhi is a dud rocket, unlaunched
Congress is trying to discredit constitutional institutions in the eyes of the public,” said Chief Minister Yogi
Gorakhpur, November 4: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress, Samajwadi Party and the Indi alliance, alleging that they were continuously obstructing India’s path towards development and self-reliance. He accused the opposition bloc of creating anarchy in Delhi and posing a threat to democracy, while taking a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by describing him as a “dud rocket” that has run out of ammunition and now produces only smoke, asserting that no matter how many times Congress attempts to launch him, he will not take off again.
Chief Minister Yogi was addressing a public meeting at the Maharana Pratap Inter College grounds in Gorakhpur on Wednesday before starting the “Save Democracy – Remove Anarchy” march led by BJP National President Nitin Nabin.
On this occasion, he gave a heartfelt welcome to Nabin on his first visit to Gorakhdhara as the National President. The Chief Minister said that if the Congress, SP, and the Indi alliance win elections, the results are a result of their efforts. However, if the public responds to their incompetence and they lose, it has become their tendency to blame EVMs. The Chief Minister said that all the allies of the Congress and Indi alliance should apologize to the countrymen.
Chief Minister said that the Congress party, whose history goes back to imposing the Emergency in 1975, is preaching about democracy today. He questioned whether Rahul Gandhi would apologize to the countrymen for this.
Chief Minister said that on November 1, the Congress held a demonstration at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan. This was a date reminiscent of the atrocities against Sikhs. On November 1, 1984, innocent Sikhs were being massacred by Congressmen on the streets of Delhi. At that time, Hindus and Sikhs lived together as brothers in India, but due to the actions of the Congress party, a rift developed between them. Congress was responsible for the deterioration of the atmosphere within the country. While the nation was commemorating the anniversary of the massacre of those innocent Sikhs and expressing condolences to their families, Congress members were rubbing salt into their wounds by celebrating in Delhi.
Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi’s political launch, the Chief Minister said that some rockets are lit on Diwali, which, after being lit, leave people staring at the sky, but then extinguish, leaving smoke behind. Rahul Gandhi has faced a similar situation. Congress launched him as a Member of Parliament in 2004, General Secretary in 2007, National Vice President in 2013, and National President in 2017. Subsequently, he lost the election from Amethi in 2019. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, Nyay Yatra, and Adhikar Yatra did not change the situation. Rahul Gandhi is 56 years old, but he remains young for the Congress. This youth will never be launched again. Despite
Chief Minister pointed out that Congress won 44 seats in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, 52 in 2019, and 99 in 2024. A total of 195 seats were won in all three elections, while the BJP alone won 240 seats in 2024. Citing the election results in Bihar, Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi, and West Bengal, he said that despite repeated defeats, the Congress party does not introspect.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become the world’s fourth largest economy. Some people are threatening to turn the country into something like Bangladesh, Nepal, or Sri Lanka, but the new India will not accept anarchy. Before 2017, more than 1,500 riots occurred during the four Samajwadi Party governments. Curfews were common before festivals. Daughters and businesspeople were unsafe. Today, the state is moving towards security and good governance. The BJP’s Padyatra is not merely a political event, but a campaign to strengthen democracy and advance the resolve for a developed India.
Addressing the padayatra program, BJP State President and Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said that the opposition alliance is misleading the public by spreading anarchy. On one hand, the opposition is spreading anarchy, while on the other, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. Previously, when India spoke, the world wouldn’t listen. But today, when India speaks, the world listens and acts.
