🔎 At BJP Meerut meet, CM Yogi urges resistance to caste divide efforts
Meerut, September 21: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath warned that negative forces will once again attempt to divide society along caste lines and even distort the legacy of great men, urging people to resist such divisions and uphold unity, while addressing the BJP West Region Shakti Kendra coordinators’ conference in Meerut district in the presence of BJP National President Nitin Nabin.
CM Yogi said that everyone heartily welcomes and congratulates the BJP National President in Meerut, the land of India’s history, revolution, and the strength of the farmers. During the National President’s two-day visit, workers of the Western Region are receiving his company and guidance. Through the Shakti Kendra conference, the workers are being called upon to awaken their power and make it useful for the party. Along with this, with a nation-first approach, workers are being called upon to play their role in a self-reliant and developed India, in line with the Prime Minister’s resolutions.
Yogi said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed power in 2014, a new India was revealed. An India that is proud of its heritage and is moving forward at a rapid pace towards development. Today, it is an India that does not face an identity crisis. It walks with its chest held high and speaks to the world eye to eye. If anyone dares to challenge, India knows how to attack them from their den. India’s economy has moved from the bottom five to the top five. In this same country, there was once a tendency to curse Sanatan and Hindu traditions and equate them with Ghaznavi, Ghori, Ibrahim Lodi, Babur, and Aurangzeb.
Yogi stated that now, the new India is overcoming the mentality of slavery and taking pride in its heritage. The result is visible in the form of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. What was impossible for the people has become possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister said that Mathura-Vrindavan is being decorated. A work plan is underway to revive the Bhagwat Bhoomi Shuktirtha, and funds have also been allocated for Vidur Kuti. Those who cursed the heritage and Sanatan had banned the Kanwar Yatra, but the BJP government said that no one can stop the Kanwar Yatra. It will continue with pomp and show. I myself participate in the Kanwar Yatra and shower flowers. It is a symbol of Sanatan. Now no one can stop Shri Krishna Janmashtami or insult the revolutionary land of Meerut.
Chief Minister said that gun-and-gun politics can no longer exist in Meerut. To give wings to the dreams of the youth, India’s largest airport, Noida International Airport, has been completed just an hour’s drive away. Meerut’s daughter, Parul Chaudhary, brought home a gold medal for India at the Olympics. Uttar Pradesh’s first sports university, named after Major Dhyan Chand, is being built in Meerut. The 12-lane Delhi-Meerut Expressway and the Namo Bharat Train are successfully operating. A film city is now under construction, a medical device park is being built, and a semiconductor unit is being established. Significant progress has also been made in the electronics sector. 60 percent of India’s electronics components and 55 percent of mobile phones are manufactured in Uttar Pradesh.
Yogi Adityanath called on Shakti Kendra heads to review each booth, form effective teams at each booth level, and assign responsibilities to each Panna Pramukh. He said that mapping and surveying each family is essential to motivate everyone to vote. Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s Constitution empowers every citizen to exercise their right to vote. The double-engine government has allocated funds for the beautification of sites, temples, and statues associated with Baba Saheb, Sadguru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, and Maharishi Valmiki. There was a time when the Samajwadi Party government changed the name of the medical college named after Baba Saheb and prevented events held at Seer Govardhan, the sacred birthplace of Sadguru Ravidas Ji Maharaj.
