CM Yogi sends best wishes to citizens on ‘Maha Ashtami’ and ‘Maha Navami’
Lucknow, October 18: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Maha Ashtami and Maha Navami of Shardiya Navratri.
He prayed to Goddess Bhagwati for the happiness, peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.
Chief Minister Yogi said that the worship of Goddess Durga during Navratri symbolizes the eternal tradition’s respect and faith in the mother power. On the occasion of Maha Ashtami and Maha Navami, devotees express their reverence to the mother power by performing Kanya Pujan (worship of girls) as per the rituals. This tradition is a powerful expression of the special place given to women in Indian culture.
Chief Minister Yogi said that the festival of Navratri inspires us to assimilate the spirit of service, devotion, restraint, and public welfare in our lives, along with the worship of Shakti. On the auspicious occasion of Maha Ashtami and Maha Navami, may every family be filled with happiness, peace and prosperity by the grace of Mother Goddess, and may the state continue to progress, this is my best wish.
