Comedy‑drama ‘Dhamaal 4’ maintains strong grip at box office
Ajay Devgn starrer comedy-drama ‘Dhamaal 4’ is continuously performing well at the box office. Maintaining its strong hold on the fourth day of its release, the film has registered excellent earnings both domestically and globally. Even on normal business days, the film’s earnings have proved that its craze among the audience remains intact.
According to preliminary figures of Sacnilk, ‘Dhamaal 4’ did a business of Rs 8.75 crore on the fourth day of its release (Monday). With this, the domestic net collection of the film has reached ₹ 73.75 crore.
At the same time, the film has earned Rs 102.83 crore worldwide and has made its place in the Rs 100 crore club. Given the film’s consistently strong earnings, it is expected that it will soon surpass the lifetime collection of Shahid Kapoor’s “O Romeo” of ₹83.35 crore.
Meanwhile, the spy action film “Alpha,” starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh, and Bobby Deol, has slowed significantly in its second week. The film grossed only ₹7.5 million on its 11th day of release, bringing its total domestic net collection to ₹54.35 crore. Despite a strong opening, the film failed to maintain its hold at the box office.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer comedy “Welcome to the Jungle” also appears to be in its final stages. The film collected only ₹5.5 million on its 18th day of release, bringing its total domestic net collection to ₹130.10 crore. Currently, the strong hold of “Dhamaal 4” in theaters is clearly impacting the earnings of other films.
