Constable critically injured after fall at SP office in Kanpur Dehat
Kanpur Dehat, August 27: A constable was critically injured after falling from a height during a commotion at the Superintendent of Police’s office on Thursday morning; he was immediately rushed to the hospital, where his condition remains serious.
According to reports, constable Ankit Deshwal arrived at the Superintendent of Police’s office on Thursday morning to meet with officials. During that time, he jumped from the office roof. Upon learning of the incident, police officers and staff arrived at the scene and immediately rushed the injured constable to the hospital.
It is reported that constable Ankit Deshwal had recently been posted to the police lines. However, the exact reason for his extreme step remains unclear.
The superintendent of police (SP) Shraddha Narendra Pandey has taken the matter seriously and launched an investigation. He stated that the reason behind the soldier’s action will only be clear after the investigation is complete. The injured soldier is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
