Demands for removal of Lucknow University Registrar intensify, MP writes to Chief Minister Yogi
Lucknow, May 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Bahraich, Dr Anand Kumar Gond, has sent a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, citing the Annual Transfer Policy 2026-27 and demanding the appointment of an impartial administrative officer to the post of Registrar of Lucknow University.
The issue of the long tenure of Lucknow University Registrar Dr Bhavana Mishra has again heated up. Despite having served in Lucknow for longer than the government’s prescribed period, she has not yet been transferred. This constitutes a blatant violation of government rules.
The MP stated in the letter that Dr Mishra has been posted in Lucknow since July 2011, which is contrary to the government’s transfer policy.
He alleged that prolonged posting at one location is damaging the government’s image and is causing growing dissatisfaction among employees. The MP has demanded strict compliance with government orders.
