
Five, including minor student, end lives in Noida; Police probe underway
Noida, May 7: At least, five people, including a student, living in different parts of the Noida, have committed suicide. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incidents and are investigating the matter.
The station house officer of Sector 49 police station, Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj, said that 15-year-old Meenu, daughter of Mahendra Kumar, living in Hoshiarpur village, committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan at her home last night. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. He said that during interrogation, the girl’s family told that she had passed the ninth grade and was not able to get admission in her desired school for the tenth grade. Due to this, she was upset. The station in-charge said that the police is investigating the matter.
Inspector Dharmendra Kumar Shukla, in-charge of Kasna police station, stated that Vimal Kumar, 32, son of Laxman Prasad, a resident of Aligarh district, committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his home last night for unknown reasons. He stated that police arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. The station in-charge stated that during the investigation, police learned that the man had been experiencing domestic problems for some time.
Inspector Krishna Gopal Sharma, in-charge of Bisrakh police station, stated that last night the police station received information that Neetu Madan, a resident of Fusion Home Society in Greater Noida West, had committed suicide by jumping from the 18th floor. He stated that police arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and sent it for a post-mortem examination.
The station in-charge stated that during the investigation, police learned that Neetu Madan had been married to Tarun six years ago. She lived with her husband on the seventh floor of Fusion Home Society. Her father-in-law lived separately in the same society on the 18th floor. The woman committed suicide by jumping from her father-in-law’s flat. He stated that the cause of suicide is being ascertained by interviewing the deceased’s husband and mother. The woman did not write a suicide note.
The station in-charge stated that in another case, Kumari Pinky, daughter of Mainpal, 20, a resident of Roza Jalalpur village, committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan at her home due to mental stress. He stated that police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Inspector in-charge of Knowledge Park Police Station, Sarvesh Kumar Singh, stated that Shyam, son of Ram Kishan, 20, a resident of Jhatta village, committed suicide today by hanging himself from an iron gutter. He stated that police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident and are investigating the matter. He stated that the man lived with his family in Jhatta village and worked as a laborer at a construction site.
