📰 Priyanka Chaturvedi’s father presents Braj Heritage book to PM Modi
New Delhi, September 21: The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former Rajya Sabha member Priyanka Chaturvedi’s father, Purushottam Chaturvedi, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and presented him with his book on Braj’s cultural heritage.
Priyanka Chaturvedi shared photos of the meeting on the social media platform ‘X’ and said that during their last meeting, the Prime Minister had promised to meet her family and personally receive the book from her father.
She said, “My father has written a book on Braj. During my last meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he had promised to meet my family and personally receive the book from my father. Today, he did so and took time out to meet my parents.”
Chaturvedi expressed her gratitude to the Prime Minister, saying she was truly grateful for his time and “kind words.”
Priyanka Chaturvedi’s parents and her husband, Vikram, were also present when the book was presented to the Prime Minister.
The book highlights the cultural heritage of Mathura and the Braj region, as well as the history and traditions of the Chaturvedi community. The Braj region is particularly known for its religious and cultural traditions associated with Lord Krishna.
