Shri Ram Trust expands its administrative strength with Aphale and Mishra in crucial positions

Ayodhya, August 11:  The Trust has appointed Jagdish Shankar Aphale as Secretary and Acharya Indra Dev Mishra as the Head of Arrangements (HoA) for the successful conduct of the daily worship, yajna and other Vedic rituals conducted in the temple and various festivals and programs as per the instructions of the religious committee.

Changes are being made in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust after irregularities in donations and offerings at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ram Nagari Ayodhya.

Jagdish Shankar Aphale has been holding the responsibility of Secretary in the Trust for the past few days, who was previously serving in the construction of the temple and Acharya Indra Dev Mishra has been given the responsibility of the HoA of the event.

Acharya Indradev is the Principal of Ram Veda Vidyalaya Karsevak Puram and has been dedicated to the service of Veda Narayana for years. He has faithfully discharged his scholarly responsibilities in ensuring the smooth and scriptural completion of all Vedic rituals at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. He currently serves as the Anushthan Acharya at the Ram Temple. Acharya Indradev Mishra has been appointed as the “Management Head” until December 2026 to oversee the successful conduct of the daily pujas, yagnas, and other Vedic rituals at the temple, as well as various festivals and events as directed by the religious committee.

The Trust issued a letter in this regard on August 8.

Jagdish Shankar Aphale had been working without pay as the Project Manager of the Ram Temple construction project since the Bhoomi Pujan in Ayodhya. He has been appointed the Trust’s First Secretary to improve the daily administration and management of the temple. Krishna Mohan, the Trust’s interim General Secretary, confirmed both responsibilities on Tuesday.
