
Tinnu & Manish Yadav under fire: Police launch 39‑Hour interrogation in Shri Ram mandir donation breach
Ayodhya, July 18: Ram Shankar Yadav alias Tinnu and Manish Yadav, accused in the Shri Ram Temple offering theft and embezzlement case, were taken on 39-hour remand by the police on Saturday. The police took both accused into custody from the district jail this morning and brought them to the police line. Here, the police are conducting a thorough investigation into the amount of offerings and the conspiracy.
The police and investigating agencies have begun conducting detailed inquiries into the recovery of the embezzled amount of offerings at the temple, the role of other possible accused involved in this case, and any conspiracy aspects behind the entire incident.
Ashutosh Tiwari, Circle Officer (Ayodhya), who is investigating the case, said that two accused have been taken on remand in the offering irregularities case. Immediately after being taken into police custody from the jail, the accused were taken to the hospital for medical examination. After the completion of the remand period, further examination will be done before sending them to judicial custody.
It is noteworthy that the investigating officer of the case, Ashutosh Tiwari, had sought seven days’ police remand in the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption on Friday for thorough interrogation of both the accused. The court has granted police remand for a total of 39 hours, from 8 am on Saturday to 11 pm on July 19.
