Death penalty for Muskan and Sahil in Saurabh Rajput murder case
Meerut, October 14: : The court of District Judge Arvind Kumar Mishra on Wednesday pronounced the sentence in the infamous Saurabh Rajput murder case, convicting Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla of Saurabh’s murder and awarding them the death penalty, with both appearing before the court via video conferencing.
It is noteworthy that Saurabh Rajput was murdered on March 3, 2025, in the Brahmapuri area of Meerut. After the murder, his body was dismembered, stuffed into a blue drum, and cemented.
The police arrested Muskan and her lover, Sahil Shukla, on March 19, 2025, on murder charges. Both were sentenced today.
