
‘Welcome to the Jungle’ joins the 100 crore club
Actor Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer ₹ 250 crore action-comedy film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is performing average at the box office. In just four days of its release, the film has crossed the 100 crore mark worldwide. On Monday, the film grossed 8.50 crore rupees at the domestic box office, taking its total net collection in India to 72.25 crore rupees. The film’s global gross collection has reached 106.48 crore rupees.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film recorded around 21 percent occupancy across the country on the fourth day. Screened in around 11 thousand shows, the film received a good number of viewers, especially in the evening and night shows. The film features Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, and Rajpal Yadav, among others, adding a dash of comedy and action.
Currently, “Welcome to the Jungle” is competing with the Imtiaz Ali-directed film “Main Wapas Aaunga.” It is expected to face stiff competition at the box office from major films like “Alpha” and “Dhamaal 4” in the coming days. Judging by its initial earnings, the film has established a strong lead, and its performance during the working days will be keenly watched.
