UP no longer in a ‘BIMARU’ state, says Chief Minister Yogi in Gonda

Gonda, November 02: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 69 development projects worth ₹ 520 crore in Gaura and Mankapur assembly constituencies in Gonda district.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi said that we have taken Uttar Pradesh out of the category of sick state. Now electricity is being provided equally not only in Saifai but in the entire state. Now the youth of Gonda will not have to go out for employment. They will get jobs and employment opportunities here itself. Today, Prithvinath Temple and Swami Narayan Chhapia area are being renovated in Gonda.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh has undergone a major transformation under his government, highlighting that development projects worth around ₹16,000 crore have been sanctioned for Gonda district and nearly ₹50,000 crore for the entire Devipatan region.

Referring to Durga Puja and the Kanwar Yatra, he said festivals are now celebrated peacefully and enthusiastically across the state. He also asserted that electricity, ration distribution, and healthcare benefits are being provided without discrimination, adding that Uttar Pradesh has been brought out of the category of a “sick state” and development is now reaching every block and village.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that all this has been possible because you have given good MLAs and good MPs. Now, no one can compromise the safety of daughters and businessmen. If any development plan is introduced, no one can hijack it. The mafia has been crushed. Now, the place for the mafia is jail or hell. The Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress mean parties that promote crime and criminals. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) brings change. Previously, no one could have imagined that funds would be available for the restoration of the Prithvinath Temple area and Swami Narayan Chhapia. Our government respects your faith.

Union Minister of State and Gonda MP Kirti Vardhan Singh, former minister Ramapati Shastri, MLA Vinay Dwivedi, MLA Prabhav Verma, Ajay Singh, Prem Narayan Pandey, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
