17-year-old girl ends life amid mental stress; Four others found dead under suspicion in Noida
Noida, May 27: A 17-year-old girl, living in Harola village, in the Phase-One police station area of Noida, hanged herself from a fan last night due to mental stress. Her brother rushed her to the Noida District Hospital in critical condition, where she was declared dead.
The station house officer (SHO) of Phase-One police station, Amit Kumar Maan, stated that Minni (name changed), 17, lived in Harola village. He stated that Minni, who was in critical condition, hanged herself from a fan in her home last night due to unknown reasons. Her brother took her down from the noose and took her to the Noida District Hospital for treatment, where she died.
He stated that police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident and are investigating the matter. The girl’s parents are residents of Bihar and were currently in the village. She was alone at home with her two brothers. Police are investigating the cause of suicide.
Similarly, Inspector Arvind Kumar of Sector 20 police station stated that a 48-year-old man was found unconscious under suspicious circumstances near Nithari village in the police station area. He was admitted to a hospital for treatment, where he died. Police are conducting a post-mortem examination.
Inspector Vinod Kumar of Beta-2 police station stated that Satish Kumar, 35, died under suspicious circumstances. His family had admitted him to the hospital for treatment. Police are conducting a post-mortem examination.
Inspector Amit Kumar Maan of Phase-1 police station stated that Deepak, son of Santosh, 42, a resident of the police station area, died under suspicious circumstances. He stated that police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination. Inspector Kailash Nath of Jarcha police station stated that the body of an unidentified 45-year-old man was found in the police station area. Police are conducting a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
