
Youth pushes minor from fourth floor; girl battles for life in Delhi hospital
Ghaziabad, July 16: In Bhowapur village under Kaushambi police station area, a 15‑year‑old girl was allegedly subjected to an obscene act by a youth; when she resisted, he threw her from the fourth floor, leaving her critically injured and admitted to a Delhi hospital for treatment.
The Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Indirapuram Suryabali Maurya said on Thursday that a 15-year-old girl living in Bhowapur village of Kaushambi police station area had gone out of her house late on Wednesday night to buy some goods, when on the way, her neighbor Mohamed Sanu caught her. He forcibly took her to his room, where he started doing obscene acts with the girl. When the girl protested, he threw her down from the fourth floor.
He said that the girl was seriously injured in this incident. Her mother and others admitted her to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi for treatment. They stated that her condition remains critical there. The ACP stated that on Thursday, the victim’s mother filed a case at the Kaushambi police station. He stated that the accused is absconding and is being searched for.
