
Former minister of state falls to death from MLA’s residence in Lucknow
Lucknow, July 28: Former Minister of State Nanak Din Bhurji died on Tuesday after falling from the seventh floor of the MLA’s residence in the Hazratganj police station area of Lucknow. The police have sent the body for post-mortem and have launched an investigation into the incident.
The administrative officer of the new MLA residence, Darulshafa in Hazratganj, informed the police that former Minister of State and State Minister of BJP OBC Morcha Nanak Chandra Bhurji had fallen from the seventh floor of the MLA’s residence and was seriously injured. The police arrived at the scene and took the injured man to the civil hospital for treatment, where he had already died.
Preliminary investigations revealed that he had been suffering from depression for some time. It is suspected that this may have led to his extreme step. At present, after informing the family about the incident, the police have started investigating all the points.
