Yogi Adityanath slams Congress for imposing ‘Emergency’, calls SP its ‘yes-man’

Ballia, August 29: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday conducted an aerial survey in the flood affected areas of Ballia, Bansdih and Bairiya tehsils of eastern Uttar Pradesh. He also listened to the problems of the flood affected people and distributed flood relief material.

At the event in Galafarpur, Bansdih tehsil, he called the SP a sycophant of the Congress and said Akhilesh Yadav wanted to turn the Jayaprakash Narayan International Center into a private property, as it was supposed to cost 200 crore rupees, but despite spending 800 crore rupees, it hasn’t been completed.

Listing his achievements, he said that now there is a double-engine government, and if anyone casts an evil eye on daughters, they will be sent to jail or hell. The foundation stone of Bhrigu Medical College will soon be laid in Ballia.

After distributing supplies to flood victims, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in his address, further stated that when the Congress tried to strangle the country’s independence, JP took the lead in protesting. The SP has now become a stooge of the Congress that strangled democracy with the Emergency. The Jayaprakash Narayan International Center in Lucknow, which should have cost only 200 crore rupees, has been spent over 800 crore rupees by the SP. Yet, it remains incomplete. He said that the SP had the intention of making it their personal property. That is why this state was sick before 2017.

He said that there was no shortage in our UP. But the SP goons had breached the security of daughters and businessmen. Not only this, SP had created a mafia in every district. But now in the double engine government, the mafia is being wiped out. Now there is one district one medical college. There is no one district one mafia. Those dacoits who had created ruckus in the state before the festival, with what face are they talking about the youth of the state today. If you cast an eye on daughters, the only place is jail or hell.

Chief Minister Yogi said that 251 villages in the state have been affected by floods this time. One thousand people have been accommodated in relief camps. 447 flood checkpoints have been set up. Each flood victim is being given ten kilograms of flour and other essential supplies. He further stated that all these supplies are being provided so that no flood victim faces any difficulties. Arrangements have also been made for everyone’s health. The government has also arranged for food and vaccinations for animals. This work is possible because you have elected a good MLA. When a good government is elected, good work is achieved. Dayashankar Singh was elected in Ballia, and he is also doing good work. For three days, free travel was provided on Transport Department buses during Rakshabandhan. Starting yesterday, women over 60 will now be given free travel.

Yogi said that the government stands with every poor person. No one is left alone. The government provides immediate assistance in case of death due to any type of accident, whether it is flood, lightning, or conflict with wild animals. This is happening because there is a double-engine government. This is being done for every woman, every farmer, and every youth. During the SP government, these relief materials were embezzled.

He mentioned the names of BJP MLAs, ministers, and leaders from the stage, saying that all of these leaders are committed to Ballia’s development.

Chief Minister Yogi, while directly interacting with the people, praised the people of Ballia profusely, saying that Ballia is the land of Mangal Pandey, JP, and Chittu Pandey. A person from Ballia has a distinct identity. A person from Ballia does not hide his identity. He said, “I will come very soon for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the medical college.”

Present on the occasion were Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister in Charge Dayashankar Mishra Dayalu, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, Minority Affairs Minister Danish Azad Ansari, Rajya Sabha MP Neeraj Shekhar, MLA Ketki Singh, MLA Hansu Ram, MLC Ravishankar Singh Pappu, District President Sanjay Mishra, Sunita Srivastava, Bharat Singh, Anand Swaroop Shukla, Upendra Tiwari, Rajdhari Singh, Sanjay Yadav, Shivshankar Chauhan, Surendra Singh, and others.
