Graphic art goes global with Lucknow’s Ipshita Rajiv Krishan
Lucknow’s Own Conquers New York Design Scene
Lucknow: Visual storytelling in Graphic was once considered to be a domain of the West. But no more.
Lucknow’s own Ipshita Rajiv Krishan has not only forayed into this unchartered domain but has also made her presence felt in New York, around 12000 kms away from Lucknow.
Ipshita, who is a New York-based Indian designer whose work explores the intersection of culture, storytelling, and contemporary visual identity, is a name to reckon with in New York is the domain of Visual Arts.
Ipshita seeks to create work that is not only visually compelling but also emotionally meaningful and culturally nuanced, said her peers while talking to Lucknow Journal.
Her work combines strategic thinking with emotional depth, drawing from both her Indian roots and her international experiences.
She has a long list of achievements which has brought laurels not to her alma mater but also to Lucknow.
“I see design not simply as the creation of aesthetically pleasing artefacts, but as a way of shaping perception, fostering connection, and giving form to ideas that matter,” said Ipshita.
