Directed by Amit Rai, “OMG 2” is a sequel to the 2012 Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal starrer “Oh My God”. The film has also earned well at the box office. If “OMG 2” can earn this much in the face of stiff competition like “Gadar 2”, then it clearly means that the story has got the potential and if the film had released alone, it would have definitely been a big hit at the box office.

According to the report of “Soldier”, the Akshay Kumar starrer film has earned well on its fifth day i.e. Independence Day.
As per the initial figures, the film has collected Rs 55.17 crore in four days till Monday, while it has collected Rs 18.50 crore on the fifth day, Tuesday. The good thing is that the film’s earnings are increasing day by day.
The film earned 73.67 crores in five days
On the first day the film took an opening of Rs 10.26 crore, while on the second day it collected Rs 15.3 crore on Saturday. After 17.55 crores on Sunday, it earned Rs 12.06 crores on Monday and Rs 18.50 crores on Tuesday. The film has collected a total of 73.57 crores in five days.

Kanti Sharan Mudgal is a devotee of Shiva. According to the report of “Sacnik”, “Gadar 2” has done a business of 55 crores on 15th August. This is the highest single day collection of “Gadar 2” till date. In five days, “Gadar 2” has earned around 229 crores in India. It is expected that soon the film will leave behind “The Kerala Story” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathan”.
Sunny Deol’s “Gadar 2” has become the highest grosser of his career. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film also stars his son Utkarsh Sharma in the lead role. Through this film, Anil Sharma has given Utkarsh a chance to earn a name in films again. The film “Gadar Ek Prem Katha”, which was released 22 years ago, also broke the box office record by earning 76.65 crores.
