CM Yogi sends strong message: ‘Sindoor’ in DP, BrahMos on cover, PM Modi, BJP leaders honor ‘Ops Sindoor’ with logo in DPs
Lucknow, May 7: On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, the nation united in paying tribute to the indomitable courage and valor of the Indian Army and armed forces, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and senior BJP leaders changing their social media profile pictures to the Operation Sindoor logo; while Yogi Adityanath sent a strong message to the enemies by including ‘Sindoor’ in his DP and showcasing the BrahMos missile on his cover photo.
The country will never forget the night of May 7, 2025, when the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy, in a joint operation, destroyed nine terrorist bases in Pakistan. This action was taken in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. That same night, the Indian government shared a photo of Operation Sindoor on the social media platform X, captioning it “Justice is Served.” The entire world witnessed India’s military prowess and decisive action against terrorism.
Prime Minister Modi, along with top BJP leaders, changed their profile pictures to
honor Operation Sindoor on its first anniversary. It’s worth noting that several senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, changed their social media profile pictures to honor Operation Sindoor. Citizens across the country are also sharing images and symbols associated with the operation on social media.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s social media account’s DP, in addition to the image of Operation Sindoor, also carried a clear strategic message. His cover photo prominently featured the BrahMos missile, considered one of India’s most powerful supersonic missiles. This is being seen as a symbol of the Indian government’s aggressive policy against terrorism under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
The BrahMos missile, which wreaked havoc on terrorist bases in Pakistan, has a special connection to Uttar Pradesh. It is now being produced in Lucknow, a matter of pride for the state. Uttar Pradesh is rapidly emerging in the defense production sector through the Defense Industrial Corridor. The Yogi government has consistently conveyed the message that Uttar Pradesh is no longer just a state of agriculture and culture, but is also becoming a major center of defense production and a self-reliant India.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been referring to the BrahMos missile and India’s military strength on numerous platforms. During a recent event, he said, “Operation Sindoor was not just a military operation, but a declaration of India’s resolve that terrorism will no longer be answered at the diplomatic table, but at the enemy’s doorstep.” His statement is being seen as a reflection of India’s changed defense policy under PM Modi’s leadership and its zero tolerance against terrorism.
The altered DP and cover photo, posted on the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, are rapidly going viral on social media. Supporters are calling it a symbol of nationalism and military honor, while Yogi Adityanath’s digital message is also being discussed in political circles.
