
Yogi Adityanath issues instructions after loss of lives in unseasonal rains
Lucknow, May 14: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed compensation to the victims of the losses caused by unseasonal rains, storms, and lightning in Uttar Pradesh. He said that relief work should be completed within 24 hours.
Chief Minister Yogi has taken cognizance of the loss of life, livestock, and economic losses caused by excessive rainfall, storms, and lightning in Uttar Pradesh. He expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased.
He has directed the District Magistrates of all districts and officials from other departments to reach the spot and provide all possible assistance to the victims. He said that negligence in this work will not be tolerated.
In a statement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to remain on alert mode and directed the Revenue, Agriculture, and Insurance companies to conduct a survey of the damage and inform the government. After the survey, they have been asked to assess the damage and provide compensation immediately.
